Approximately 2 million youth across the United States run away from home each year.  As a result, some consequences may include; school truancy, poor grades, sexual or physical abuse, family illness, drug or alcohol abuse, divorce, unplanned pregnancy and family communication breakdowns.  In addition, approximately 5,000 of those runaway and homeless youth die from assault, illness and suicide. 

Staircase Youth Services is here to help youth and their families build a better future.  If you are a youth in crisis, a family member, a friend, teacher or anyone with a genuine concern for an at-risk youth, please contact us.  Our services are free of charge and our staff works to divert youth from being becoming children "in the system".

Staircase works with youth 12-21 years of age to provide safe living situations, guidance in life skills, help in crisis situations, goal setting, life skills training and more - free of charge.
